Doug Tricia, Ryan and Megan Stoner

Tricia and Doug have been missionaries with Greater Europe Mission for 15 years.  They have been working in Slovakia since 1994 and their main ministry is assisting the evangelical denominations in planting churches so every person is within reach of a witnessing fellowship. With 0.2% believers in the country and evangelical churches in only 5% of the towns and cities, the need is huge.

Doug works as a church planting facilitator and has helped in a number of projects to assist Slovak churches.  In 1997 and 2003 he helped with the first studies on how the Slovak evangelical churches were growing. Also he is the administrator for Slovak church planter training team. Eleven Slovak trainers have trained over 120 graduates from 7 different denominations and together have planted over 30 new churches. 

The Stoners attend the Lutheran church in Kosice and are helping with their Family Fellowships ministry, which has a goal to see renewal and revival take place throughout the Slovak Lutheran churches.  Doug works with the leaders and assists them.
